10 Tips To Get Google Adsense Approved in Pakistan

I know many of you’d desperately want to read this post as Google is now very strict with its Adsense account approval polices, especially for those living in Pakistan.
We know that all professional bloggers are very serious about their blogging and hence they will not get involved in any activity which is against Google Adsense Terms and Conditions. Then why Google is banning Adsense accounts of professional bloggers in third world countries like Pakistan?
Well there is a reason, that has been repeatedly discussedon this website, which is mainly the misuse of Adsense accounts in Pakistan by spammers. They create Google Adsense account via third party websites and upon approval sell these accounts to non professional bloggers, who than put ads on their spammy blogs. Sorry to say but this is not the way to earn money from Google Adsense.
Buying and selling of Google Adsense accounts is not the only misuse in Pakistan. Just pickup the newspaper and look at Classified Ads to see the number of ads related to Google Adsense. All these spammers are trapping innocent people claiming that they will tell a way through which one can easily earn 25,000 to 30,000 Rupees per month. When you contact them and ask them what is the way of earning this much money online, and guess what there answer would be “Google Adsense”.
There are hundreds if not thousands of Groups working in Pakistan, which are misleading people saying that Google Adsense is a easy way to earn money on internet.
Here’s how they trap innocent people:
Almost every trainer/fake teacher creates free blogs on blogger.com and redirect it to free domain name services like Dot.tk or Co.cc. They pick articles from article directories like Ezinearticles.com or Goarticles.com and post 5 to 10 articles on each blog. Now such a blog won’t get adsense approval, hence they get these accounts through third party website like FLixya and Docstoc. After that they put ads on these crappy blogs and show them to innocent people and charge them thousands of rupees.
One more thing I would like to add before I tell you the 10 killer Tips to get your Google Adsense account approved in Pakistan. After creating these blogs they create groups of different peoples in different cities and assign them tasks, such as visiting these websites regularly to generate impressions. Also they ask users to cross-click on Google Ads of other members to earn money.
This whole situation is really terrifying and if it continues Google will surly ban Pakistan. So we must condemn these activities and must educate our people that this is not the way to earn money from Google Adsense.
Below are the few tips through which everybody can get Google Adsense account, which is of course illegal.
10 Tips To Get Google Adsense in Pakistan
1. Buy your own Top level domain and a reputable webhosting service, examples are Godaddy or Hostgator. If you’ll buy cheap webhosting from an ordinary webhost, initially Google might accept your application but after some time when your site traffic increases Google will surly ban your Adsense account because of the slow server speed.
2. Second and most important thing now a days specially after Google Panda Update is choosing a theme or template for your site. Its better to buy premium theme rather than free themes because of SEO optimization and other rich features. This way you can tell Google that you are serious about your blogging profession and you are not a spammer.
3. Some of you might not agree with me but try to use blogger as your blogging platform and avoid WordPress. After Google banned thousands of Pakistani bloggers Adsense accounts i have manually checked nearly 100 blogs and believe me or not more than 90% blogs were on WordPress and very few Top level Domain blogger blogs were banned by Google (as we all know blogger is owned by Google so you can understand).
4. Register your domain on your own name and address and provide same name and address when you apply for Adsense account. Its better to provide working Telephone number, full address including postal code as well.
5. Wait for at-least 6 months before applying for Google Adsense. Yes I know this is the most painful step and you don’t want to wait this long but friends we are not alone in this case. China and India are also with us and Google is not accepting applications from these countries before 6 months.
6. First 6 months of your blog wants real effort and hard work. Write as much quality and unique content as you can. This will surly leave a good impression on Adsense team and no doubt they want to partnership with you.
7. Make sure you blog has neat and clean design and easy to find navigation system. Recently Google has banned many Pakistani bloggers account saying that your blog is not providing user experience.
8. Never apply for Google Adsense if your blog has less content and is not optimized according to Google terms and Conditions. Make sure your blog has Privacy policy, Copyright Policy, Disclaimer, About Us and Contact Us pages before applying for Adsense.
9. Never try to create Adsense account via third party websites like Flixya or Docstoc. If you create account from these websites and put ads onto your blog than you are wasting your blog. In future Google will surly catch you and will ban your account.
10. Make sure that your blog has at-least 300 unique visitors per day before applying for Adsense. If you blog’s traffic’s main source is Facebook than there are little chances that Google will accept your application. Try to optimize your blog so that it gets natural traffic from search engines rather than social networking websites.
Hope it helps.

How (And Why) To Become A Fabulous Listener

Listening is a bit like intelligence—most everyone thinks they’re above average, even though that’s impossible.

And listening is a skill you want to be great at. A recent study conducted at George Washington University showed that listening can influence up to 40% of a leader’s job performance.

“The word listen contains the same letters as the word silent.” –Alfred Brendel

There’s so much talking happening at work that opportunities to listen well abound. We talk to provide feedback, explain instructions, and communicate deadlines. Beyond the spoken words, there’s invaluable information to be deciphered through tone of voice, body language, and what isn’t said.

In other words, failing to keep your ears (and eyes) open could leave you out of the game.

Most people believe that their listening skills are where they need to be, even though they aren’t. A study at Wright State University surveyed more than 8,000 people from different verticals, and almost all rated themselves as listening as well as or better than their co-workers. We know intuitively that many of them are wrong.

Effective listening is something that can absolutely be learned and mastered. Even if you find attentive listening difficult and, in certain situations, boring or unpleasant, that doesn’t mean you can’t do it. You just have to know what to work on. The straightforward strategies that follow will get you there.

Focus. The biggest mistake most people make when it comes to listening is they’re so focused on what they’re going to say next or how what the other person is saying is going to affect them that they fail to hear what’s being said. The words come through loud and clear, but the meaning is lost. Focusing may seem like a simple suggestion, but it’s not as easy as it sounds. Your thoughts can be incredibly distracting.

Put away your phone. It’s impossible to listen well and monitor your phone at the same time. Nothing turns people off like a mid-conversation text message or even a quick glance at your phone. When you commit to a conversation, focus all your energy on the conversation. You will find that conversations are more enjoyable and effective when you immerse yourself in them.

Ask good questions. People like to know you’re listening, and something as simple as a clarification question shows not only that you are listening but that you also care about what they’re saying. You’ll be surprised how much respect and appreciation you gain just by asking good questions. In addition to verifying what you’ve heard, you should ask questions that seek more information. Examples of probing questions are “What happened next?” and “Why did he say that?” The key is to make certain that your questions really do add to your understanding of the speaker's words, rather than deflecting the conversation to a different topic.

Practice reflective listening. Psychologist Carl Rogers used the term “reflective listening” to describe the listening strategy of paraphrasing the meaning of what’s being said in order to make certain you’ve interpreted the speaker’s words correctly. By doing this, you give the speaker the opportunity to clarify what she meant to say. When you practice reflective listening, don’t simply repeat the speaker’s words to her. Use your own words to show that you’ve absorbed the information.

Use positive body language. Becoming cognizant of your gestures, expressions, and tone of voice (and making certain they’re positive) will draw people to you like ants to a picnic. Using an enthusiastic tone, uncrossing your arms, maintaining eye contact, and leaning towards the speaker are all forms of positive body language employed by great listeners. Positive body language can make all the difference in a conversation.

Don’t pass judgment. If you want to be a good listener, you must be open-minded. Being open-minded makes you approachable and interesting to others. No one wants to have a conversation with someone who has already formed an opinion and is not willing to listen. Having an open mind is crucial in the workplace, where approachability means access to new ideas and help. To eliminate preconceived notions and judgment, you need to see the world through other people’s eyes. This doesn’t require that you believe what they believe or condone their behavior; it simply means that you quit passing judgment long enough to truly understand what they are saying.

Keep your mouth shut. If you’re not checking for understanding or asking a probing question, you shouldn’t be talking. Not only does thinking about what you’re going to say next take your attention away from the speaker, hijacking the conversation shows that you think you have something more important to say. This means that you shouldn’t jump in with solutions to the speaker’s problems. It’s human nature to want to help people, especially when it’s someone you care about, but what a lot of us don’t realize is that when we jump in with advice or a solution, we’re shutting the other person down. It’s essentially a more socially acceptable way of saying, “Okay, I’ve got it. You can stop now!” The effect is the same.

Bringing It All Together

Life is busy, and it seems to whirl by faster every day. We all try to do a million things at once, and sometimes it works out. But active, effective listening isn’t something you can do on the fly. It requires a conscious effort.

How do you know when someone is really listening to you? How would you rate your listening skills? Please share your thoughts in the comments section below as I learn just as much from you as you do from me.

According to the 7 Cs, your communication should always be:

Clear:  Make the goal of your message clear to your recipient. Ask yourself what the purpose of your communication is.
Concise:  Your message should also be brief and to the point. Why communicate your message in six sentences when you can do it in three?
Concrete:  Ensure your message has important details and facts, but that nothing deters the focus of your message.
Correct:  Make sure what you're writing or saying is accurate. Bad information doesn't help anybody. Also make sure that your message is typo free.
Coherent:  Does your message make sense? Check to see that all of your points are relevant and that everything is consistent with the tone and flow or your text.
Complete:  Your message is complete when all relevant information is included in an understandable manner and there is a clear "call to action". Does your audience know what you want them to do?

Its a big sin and Allah will ask you about your servant rights.

" Yesterday while traveling back to Islamabad from Lahore with my family we stopped at a restaurant for dinner.
There I saw the worst form of humanity.

A family of 9-10 members were eating and enjoying there food.
They had came along with their 4 servant kids.

Now one of the servant boy was sitting on the floor as he was not allowed to sit on the chair. Later on he was told to turn his face towards the wall so that he may not see them eating the luxurious food.He wasn't even offered!
(See the first picture)

The other two maids who were hardly 8 or 10 ,were forced to sit perfectly still facing the wall. They weren't allowed to move there hands even.
(See the second picture)

Now the worst part comes! The last servant girl who was around 5 was sitting underneath the table eating the left overs of the food that was thrown to her as if she was a dog or any other animal.
She was sitting in there feet and was sweating badly as the temperature was quiet warm.
She came out when they were about to leave. (The last picture)

Its just one story there are thousands of people who treat there servants like animals!
PEOPLE, please be kind to your servants and consider them human beings atleast!

Either don't take your servants to a restaurant if you have no intension of providing them with dignity and if you do, then please offer them the same food that you eat and allow them to sit with you.
Its a big sin and Allah will ask you about your servant rights.
May Allah give us hadayat, AMEEN.

Stop Letting Other People Define You

When I talk to friends and relatives about their kids, I always underestimate the kids' ages. "How old are Leo and Maxine now?" I ask, "seven and nine?"

"They're nine and eleven," is the answer.

"How did they get so big so fast?" I wonder.

My own kids grow up like beanstalks right before my eyes. It is hard to take it in. My eldest will graduate from college in a few months.

She is about to give her senior recital. Your head spins thinking about it. Didn't she just graduate from kindergarten not long ago?

Life is all about change. Children bring those changes to the forefront. That is one of the great things about kids. As adults we can get into ruts very easily. We forget that to evolve and grow as people, we have to change. We have to accept changes instead of avoiding them.

Getting used to changes and learning to ride the waves like a surfer is the principal life skill, but we don't teach it in school. We teach kids about columns and rows and tell them "You'll grow up, get a job, get married and get a car. End of story!"

We don't tell them how to read the weather patterns and be on the lookout for shifts in the wind. We don't teach them how to grab a wave and ride it.

We don't teach kids that we will keep growing and evolving until we die. We'll grow new muscles and get battle scars. We finish school and then the real education begins!

A static state is not good for us, but we want things to stay the same. Our muscles atrophy when we don't use them. When we fall into the classic rut working at the same job, making the same commute, and grappling with the same problems for years on end we wither on the vine. That's when we get really fearful.

We think that it would kill us to lose the unexciting job because we're used to it. We forget the feeling of air on our faces. We forget what living in the moment feels like.

Mother Nature wants things to change. We see that in the seasons, and in the weather - especially here in Colorado! There are mounds of snow everywhere you look and it's sixty-eight degrees outside. Maybe it will snow again this weekend, or rain. Oh well! That is the weather.

There will be signs that will tell you when Mother Nature wants you in a bigger box. There are signals that will first whisper and then shout at you "Something has to change!"

When you are ready to burst out of your old box and into a new, expanded one, you will get messages. At first they'll be small signals. If you ignore those, the signals will get louder.

One of the signals you'll get from Mother Nature when you are evolving is a tap on the shoulder. It might happen like this.

You'll be at work and you'll hear one of your workmates say about you -- or say right to your face: "Mike, you're the greatest. Thank you for being such a great support guy. You are so great with customers. You're my favorite customer service rep."

That's when you'll feel Mother Nature tapping you. Wow, you'll think -- that's how you see me?

Nothing against customer service reps, because companies live and die by their customer service and those jobs are not easy, but - dang! I've been working with you for four years as a product specialist. I do so many things here but you still see me as your friendly customer service rep.

I push big projects through when no one else does. I get on the phone with your customers when you haven't told them diddly about how the product works, and I take them through demos to get them excited about the product and get them to buy. And you say "You're a great customer service rep."

Why do people limit you and tell you what you are, when their impression may be just a small piece of what you bring? Why do people want to define you?

People cannot always see what you bring. That includes your boss, your co-workers and even, God bless them, your family members. They can't see you as you are now.

People see you stuck in the past sometimes, the way a far-away observer with a very good telescope could look at earth through the telescope right now and see Neanderthals hunting caribou.

It is the coziness of the people around you with the person they think they know, the old version of you, that can easily keep you stuck in an old shell long after you've outgrown it. Like everyone else, you are a hermit crab. You need a bigger shell every now and then.

People around you will try to keep you the way they like you. They may have a hard time with the idea that you want to make changes. If you accept someone else's definition for yourself just to please them, Mother Nature will have something to say.

Eventually the tap on the shoulder or the whisper in your ear will turn to a hard shove or the sound of a freight train. You're going to get the message one way or another.

It's no good to let other people define you. You don't fit into a box, no matter how much the box-makers love you or say they do. If they love the wrong you, can we still say they love you? They love the person they want you to be -- a very different prospect.

People will put your into tidy small boxes that make them comfortable. Your changes and your growth challenge other people to rise up and change, too. Your expanding possibilities hold up a mirror in front of their faces. Not everyone wants to look.

Don't get defensive when someone -- your boss, for instance -- tries to put boundaries around you. The more fearful your boss is, the more likely he or she is to try and define and thus limit you.

You can talk about it. You can be adult and professional, compassionate and earnest all at the same time.

You can speak your truth at work about the most important topic of all -- your forward path. We are all learning to talk about our paths.

We are learning to stay in our bodies and stay human at work, even when our fearful brain says "But what if your boss doesn't like what you say?"

BOSS: So Margie, I saw you in the inventory meeting. How did it go?

YOU: It was good. The big issue is that our product numbering system doesn't support the new inventory system. The inventory system is obviously the smart way to go, so the crushing reality is that we have to re-number the products internally. It's going to be a big job. It's going to be gnarly, but it has to happen - growing pains, I guess.

BOSS: Database hell.

YOU: Yes, but the high-altitude question on that is "Do we give the products intelligent product numbers that fit into a hierarchy, so that if you see a particular product number you can figure out what the product is by decoding the number -- or give them random numbers and save ourselves the hassle of creating a big, hairy, consistent logical numbering scheme over time?"

BOSS: So in other words, if you put an M in the product number for all mobile products, and a D for desktop -- that sort of thing?

YOU: Exactly. If you do that, you can figure out what a product is just by seeing the number, but then you buy yourself the headache of having to come up with new categories all the time and keep everything consistent - and with all the new products we're launching!

BOSS: Well, it's an interesting puzzle. You know what, that's a great question for the IT folks. You're my Inventory Coordinator. Just make sure the reports are accurate and I'll be happy.

YOU: Can I ask you a question about that?

BOSS: Sure, what?

YOU: I heard you say that you want me to make sure the inventory reports are accurate, and I definitely understand why you do. I take the inventory reports very seriously. You haven't seen a problem with my reports, have you? I would be concerned if you had.

BOSS: No, I just mean, that's your job description.

YOU: I understand. Do you feel uncomfortable that I'm helping IT and Marketing to build the new product numbering system? I want to make sure that you and I are in synch.

BOSS: Well, honestly, I don't know why you need to be involved in that. You've got a different job.

YOU: Thanks for sharing that. I appreciate it. I want to make sure that I work on the stuff that's important to you. I can back out of the product numbering project if you like. We should talk about my role and my roadmap at some point. I'd love to sit down with you and make sure we're aligned on that.

BOSS: What do you mean?

YOU: Well, I think you're happy with my work -- this is my understanding -

BOSS: Yes, definitely.

YOU: And I want to keep learning. I want to keep growing. I see that I can make more of a contribution, the more I know about the company and about business in general, the more people I know and the more I see how the pieces fit together.

BOSS: Okay. Let's meet about that. I guess I was hasty. Go ahead and work on the product numbering scheme. I'll be interested to see how that turns out.

Who gets to define you? Only one person does, and that person is you. The best you can do is to listen for the signals Mother Nature sends you and follow them the best you can. That's all any of us can do.

When people box you in you can accept the little box and try to stay snug in it. Alternatively, you can decide to figure out who you are by pushing against every barrier you find -- starting with the ones you've built yourself.

7 Signals That Someone Is About to Quit

7 Signals That Someone Is About to Quit

In this series, professionals share all the right — and wrong — ways to leave a job. Follow the stories here, and write your own (please include #IQuit somewhere in the body of your post).

When it comes to career categories full of people who are prone to quitting, few can match either consulting or high tech. Since I spent the bulk of my career in those two worlds, I’ve learned a few things about resignations along the way.

The reasons why people are apt to quit consulting and high tech are well-documented. In the world of consulting the reason is often too much travel. As any road warrior knows, business travel can be interesting in the beginning but it gets old very fast. Not to mention how it cuts into the social life of a young person. Then there is the pressure of billable time and the stress of project completion. As one young person told me when she was quitting, “There are easier ways to earn a living.”

The high tech world is full of people quitting because those same people have so many opportunities. Where there are lots of choices for more money, there is lots of quitting.

Having accepted so many resignations, there are a few things I’ve learned along the way. Here are just a few:

  • If someone wants to meet on a Friday afternoon and says, “It will only take five minutes,” assume that person is about to quit. It’s better not to wait until Friday; get it over with.
  • Team engagement can be measured in the number of emails sent. Anyone with email production that drops in a big way is losing interest and will quit soon.
  • Anyone who does not want to participate in interviewing candidates means they don’t want to try to sell someone on an organization they will soon be leaving. It won’t be long.
  • When family and personal photos start to disappear gradually from the workspace, a letter of resignation will soon follow.
  • The person who takes “personal time off” but never for an entire day is probably interviewing. That is the colleague who takes half days off or says, “I am going to be a little late” is not long for his or her current work world.
  • Those people standing in the hall or the bathroom on their cellphone may not be chatting with Mom. The call might be an iPhone interview. (But could also be a sign they are ending a relationship, which might be even worse.)
  • Absence from the company holiday party or annual picnic might not be that important, but it could mean too that a quitter is developing. Or maybe not.

Of course, there are some very definitive signals that leave no doubt about imminent departures. Spouse transfers and winning lottery tickets might be the top two.

I’ve learned too that if someone quits, it is useless to try to talk that person into staying. In many ways a resignation is like a romantic breakup. When your boyfriend or girlfriend says, “I don’t love you anymore,” responding with “Yes you do!” doesn’t make a lot of sense. The same is true in a resignation situation.

The first time I resigned from a job I was a nervous wreck. My speech was prepared, and I went into the resignation meeting with a list of things that needed to be done after I left. It was like a list you would hand a neighbor when you're about to go on vacation. There was no need, I left and, shockingly, they did just fine without me.

There is no disgrace in submitting a resignation. It happens a million times every day. Make it a short meeting, don’t look back, don’t burn any bridges, and get excited about the next big thing.

Is your career heading in the right direction?

Technology has dominated the world in the last 30-40 years, with the arrival of personal computers and then smart phones, things have changed dramatically so did the Industries and Businesses over the period. It is very important to understand if your career is heading in the right direction or you need to reassess the situation and take the right route.

Is Money affecting your choices:

Earlier in your career, Do not let money decide your path. Although, it is one of the primary reasons why people might choose or refuse few options in the career but you have to make sure you don't let it dominate your choices and stick to your career goals. If Money is deciding your career path, it might feel you are doing good in a shorter term but in a longer run, you are certainly on a wrong track.

Is your Job challenging or not?

If you want to prosper in the career and life, you have to push yourself to your limits. To get maximum out of your abilities, you can't do stuff that everyone does and expect to be a rockstar in your career. To attain bigger results, you have to choose a job or career which is challenging and not something you already know. Challenges never come alone, they bring opportunities as well, if you truly believe in yourself, you will convert those challenges into opportunities and be successful in the career.

What did you learn in last six months?

As I already mentioned, world is moving at the speed of light and anyone who doesn't evolve their skills, do not focus on learning new things might suffer in the career. If you find yourself not learning anything new in the last six months, there is something wrong which have to be fixed to move on. It could be your job, your current function, current project or simply your attitude which is not letting you learn new stuff, whatever the reason is you are the one who will rectify it and take things forward by your own.

Are you working for the Future?

Is your work aiming the Future or not? Are you visualizing what would be there in the next 5-10 years. Why Apple succeeded and Blackberry failed? Because Apple realized the real potential of the next era of computing while Blackberry failed to get out of the Business worlds' users. Think again and make sure you are working for the Future, if not, you are on a road which will end soon.

In the end, I would say its never too late in your career, everyone makes right and wrong choices at times but those who learn from their mistakes and do not repeat those mistakes in the future are the ones who succeed in the career.
